To mark the 2nd European Awareness Day on violence against Doctors and other Health Professionals and the year of Health Care Workers 2021, the CEOM is endorsing the WHO Vaccine Equity Declaration.
CEOM statement in support of the Portuguese Medical Association
CEOM (European Council of Medical Orders) become aware of the approval, by the Portuguese Parliament, of a project that aims to change the statutes of professional orders, reducing their ability to defend its members and with direct interference of political power in these institutions, inadmissible in democratic regimes.

Given the evolution and the gravity of the situation regarding COVID-19 in Europe, CEOM Board has decided to cancel our CEOM Spring Meeting in Sanremo, which was planned to take place initially on May 29.
European Medical Organisations condemn attacks on healthcare professionals fighting the COVID-19 pandemic
Following the alarming reports of cases of violence, discrimination and exclusion that physicians and other healthcare professionals across Europe have been facing because of the fear they will spread the Coronavirus, European Medical Organisations reaffirm that they stand in complete solidarity with their colleagues who are in the front line of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the board elections held during the CEOM Plenary meeting in Madeira on Friday, 11th October 2024, we are pleased to announce the composition of the new CEOM board for the 2024-2027 term
